It's been a busy first three months for me as the new CEO and Director of the Louisiana Cancer Research Center. I spent that time really getting to understand and appreciate the great work that's being done by our partners, Tulane, LSU Health New Orleans, Xavier, and Ochsner Health, and also touring the state and getting to understand better the work that's going on in the communities to better treat, diagnose, and prevent cancer through research and education. The work that is being done is all of a significant high caliber, and I've been very impressed by it.

My job as the CEO of the Louisiana Cancer Research Center is to find ways and provide new resources to lift and elevate that work, and that is what we will be doing in the coming months and years. You can help with that by providing a donation on Giving Tuesday to the Louisiana Cancer Research Center, which will go towards better preventing, diagnosing, and treating cancers in our communities here in Louisiana.
